Injuries and Illness
INJURIES AND ILLNESS
CONSULTATIONS OFFERED AT OUR FIVE CONVENIENT LOCATIONS IN DELRAY BEACH, LAKE WORTH, DEERFIELD BEACH, FORT LAUDERDALE AND CORAL SPRINGS, FL
One worrisome byproduct of the COVID pandemic is its impact on the healthcare industry as a whole. Emergency room waiting areas are stacking up, so we make it our mission to mitigate the overflow. Dr. G’s Urgent Care treats common illnesses and injuries that emergency rooms might have previously handled, but without that hefty medical bill.
We go a step beyond the standard flu shot, strep throat and bone bruise scenarios. Dr. Graber offers treatments for lacerations, fractures, sprains, dislocations, abrasions and more. As tenured emergency room medics, there’s nothing our staff hasn’t seen. We will always aim to treat and resolve your health concerns in-house, although we have escalated a few recent cases to the local hospital and made sure our patients got the exact care they needed.
Injuries and illness are the unfortunate byproducts of a life fully lived. We fall down, but we get back up, and Dr. Mylissa Graber wants to give you a hand.
Whether you are struggling with an unidentified sickness or trying to patch up a nasty scrape, Dr. G’s Urgent Care is here to help. With three convenient South Florida locations in Delray Beach, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, and Lake Worth, we are perfectly positioned to meet your health care needs.
COMMON ILLNESSES AND INJURIES
Accidents happen, regardless of whether or not you’re a risk-taker. Risk is a commonality throughout our daily lives. Our board-certified caretakers can quickly patch you up and have you back on your feet. From suturing lacerations to stabilizing a muscle or joint injury, our clinic handles a wide array of accidents. Dr. G’s Urgent Care has the capability to expedite x-rays and determine what level of care is needed to mend your wounds.
All too often, our staff reviews cases of patients who are on the fence as to whether or not their bone is broken or fractured. They have avoided the emergency room due to the cost and wait times, which means their fractures went unnoticed. Dr. G’s Urgent Care provides early detection of small fractures that can become more painful if gone untreated.
When the human body endures a sprain, strain or fracture without proper care, it ripples into a long-term condition. The longer a patient goes without resolving an issue, the longer their recovery time will be. Some injuries are so insidious, they become lifelong issues. Dr. G’s Urgent Care can provide x-rays to your general care physician or specialist so that you can continue your recovery after leaving our clinic.
After all, wellness is a team sport and we are playing to win for you!
DR. G’S AFTER HOURS CLINICS:
- Are open longer hours, weekends, and/or holidays
- May offer shorter wait times than an emergency room
- Offer faster access to a doctor
- Don’t require an appointment
- Have lab testing and other diagnostic services onsite

FLU SHOTS, LAB WORK, AND BEYOND
Do you have that all-over sick feeling? Illness can be completely debilitating, clouding your mind and shortening your patience. You may have even tried to become an internet sleuth/expert, typing your symptoms into the search bar in hopes of finding an easy diagnosis. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy. You should contact a professional if you are experiencing persistent symptoms.
Whether you’re suffering from a common cold or a seasonal virus, it’s important to determine the root cause of the issue. Undiagnosed and misdiagnosed issues frequently lead to more serious issues.
Dr. G’s Urgent Care is well-versed in getting you on the road to recovery.
We treat complications arising from the cold, flu, upper respiratory infection, pneumonia, bronchitis, and all of the other seasonal issues you might be facing. If your symptoms persist (even ones you might consider insignificant), it’s important to get ahead of the game and take back control of your health.
Our on-site, state-of-the-art lab empowers the team at Dr. G’s to quickly diagnose your condition. We can help you through the process of putting those symptoms to rest and waking up to a healthier, happier tomorrow. Call (561) 330-9363 to discuss your symptoms and begin your journey to wellness.
SEXUAL HEALTH AND STD TESTING
As a female business owner, Dr. Graber prides herself on treating private health matters with discretion and diligence. Time is of the essence when it comes to sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing and diagnoses, so let us take care of your most personal needs.
We take the extra steps to assure patients that their tests and results are 100% confidential. There will never be any judgment from our staff. We are on the same team when it comes to patient care. Our priorities are keeping you healthy and preventing future complications. We are also happy to send along results or speak with your doctor, as needed (but only after your request and approval).
All three Dr. G’s locations offer the full portfolio of STD screening for both men and women.
BENEFITS OF URGENT CARE

URGENT, OR AN EMERGENCY?
You shouldn’t have to choose between your health and your finances. Dr. G’s Urgent Care offers extended hours that can allow you to see a doctor without an appointment, and without an expensive visit to the emergency room. While the emergency room may seem like the fastest way to be treated, urgent care centers like ours offer many of the services that larger medical facilities feature.
Our after-hour services can help you avoid a trip to the emergency room when you have pressing but not life-threatening symptoms and conditions.
A recent study found that nearly 30% of emergency room visits could have been treated by a primary care physician or urgent care center. (2) That being said, urgent care is not for the treatment of life-threatening or emergency situations.
Go to the ER immediately if you are experiencing:
- Bleeding that won’t stop
- Chest pains or stroke
- Serious burns
- Sudden loss or change of vision
- Trouble breathing
- Contractions or labor while pregnant
If you experience a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 immediately!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was trying to check my mom as well as myself into the kiosk which was proving to be an issue. Adriana, front desk receptionist, noticed and had me bypass the kiosk and she did the check in for us! Feeling as ill as we did that was truly appreciated.
